UBS was started in 1993 in Johannesburg. UBS has grown into a national company with branches in the main urban centres including Johannesburg, Pretoria, Durban, Cape Town, East London, Port Elizabeth and Bloemfontein. We are further expanding into other urban centres.

UBS caters for every contractor, from the smallest to the largest, and we cover every aspect of ceiling and partitioning installations. Our Branch Managers and staff are experienced in the industry and are able to offer comprehensive solutions to both contractors and end users, thus building enduring business relationships.

UBS also has a technical specifying team in the main centres, promoting and detailing our technically superior products to architects, quantity surveyors, developers and contractors. For our customers, UBS operates a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) programme, including a Loyalty Card initiative to monitor and promote our products, and to reward our loyal customers.

Our logistical capability enables us to deliver materials to our customers throughout South Africa, in addition to several other African countries and the Indian Ocean Islands.

UBS specialise in ceilings and partitions, stocking all the major brands including MARLEY, GYPROC, AMF, ARMSTRONG and OWA. Additionally UBS represent the world famous KNAUF group, including PFT, known for their superior projection plastering equipment designed for applying the KNAUF speciality plasters for walls and ceilings.
